It raises fundamental concerns regarding the state’s capacity to uphold legal frameworks and preserve societal order, while simultaneously safeguarding the safety and protection of its inhabitants. Furthermore, it erodes the political and social stability of the country, fostering an environment characterized by pervasive apprehension and unpredictability that permeates various spheres of existence.
Islamic laws, as outlined in the Quran and Hadith, promote peace, justice and obedience to the state. The Quran explicitly states that, “O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and those charged with authority among you. If ye differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if ye do believe in Allah and the Last Day: That is best, and most suitable for final determination” (4:59).
The use of violence for political or ideological objectives is severely forbidden in Islam and contradicts the religion’s precepts.
