Folly Group – a band made up of Sean Harper, producer Louis Milburn, Tom Doherty and percussionist Kai Akinde-Hummel – are a London group with a vision free from the constraints of musical genres. Their unmistakable style, which oscillates between post punk, electronic and dance, gave them the opportunity – in 2021 – to participate in a series of concerts with Do Nothing, to go on tour with the English band PVA and to start the their first tour which started last March 31st from the famous Studio 9294 in London.
Fast-paced and versatile, Folly Group have two EPs under their belt – “Awake and Hungry” released in 2021 and “Human and Kind” released in 2022 – and returned with new music in August, releasing the single “Strange Neighbour”, which entered yesterday joined the BBC Radio 6 Music B-List, and have released new single “Big Ground” today 26 September. Their first debut album “Down There!” will be released on January 12, 2024.
