Justin Bieber will no longer be represented by record guru Scooter Braun.
Various sources have revealed to Puck News that the Canadian singer and the manager have decided to interrupt their collaboration at the natural expiry of the contract ‘after months of discussions’.
As reported, the lawyers are already at work and the pop star is currently looking for ‘a new agency or a new manager’. It seems that Bieber wants to revolutionize his team: after canceling his world tour last year, the 29-year-old cut ties with his CAA agency, replaced his lawyer, struck a deal with Britney Spears’ former business manager , Lou Taylor, and sold his music catalog for $200 million.
In June 2022, Justin was forced to cancel a series of concerts on his Justice World Tour due to Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which resulted in facial paralysis. He returned for a few shows in July; he subsequently postponed some dates again and then canceled the tour altogether in January: since then, the singer has been away from the spotlight.
Scooter discovered Justin on YouTube when he was just 13, making him a worldwide star.
He is currently the manager of other big stars such as Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, J Balvin and Carly Rae Jepsen.
