DraGAN is taking the simplicity in photo editing to the next level, leaving behind Photoshop with its AI click-and-drag feature tool. Unlike most photo editing apps, the tools provided in DraGAN let you click on specific areas of the image to create points, and then drag them across to edit.
Similar to dragging an element of the picture with your mouse, DraGAN will let you drag points to edit the image realistically without having to use complex photoshop tools.
The Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) is currently in the form of a research paper but has garnered much attention with its concept that its demo site continuously crashed due to the sheer volume of visitors.

While AI image editing and generating tools have been rapidly emerging since the popularity of ChatGPT took the world by storm, this first-gen-still-in research tool is simplifying image editing for users.
Unlike MidJourney and Dall-E2, the app is not an AI image-generation tool. The Vergehas compared the app to the Warp tool in Photoshop with much more powerful pixels, better generation of underlying objects and even rotation in 3D of objects.
Using this app, you can change the angle and perspective of an object, while indenting new details to make size changes. Demos of the app showed, opening and closing a dog’s mouth, correcting someone’s face to smiling, changing the height of a mountain, and more.
“Our approach can hallucinate occluded content, like the teeth inside a lion’s mouth, and can deform following the object’s rigidity, like the bending of a horse leg,” the research paper states.
The tool is changing the way images are edited and when paired with other new AI editing tools like MidJourney, image editing will become more of a text prompt in the future rather than a computer and mouse job.
