Homophobic Morgan at concert: ‘Frock*o di s*a’ – Music News

Morgan lashed out at the audience during a concert at the Festival of Beauty in Selinunte.

The match started on Saturday on the closing night of the Festival at the temple of Hera.

Apparently, the public didn’t consider the pieces intoned by Morgan suitable for the evening, entitled ‘Battiato, signals of life and art’.

The singer-songwriter’s wrath was unleashed when some of those present pointed out that ‘it was off topic’.

Morgan’s response was immediate.

‘Not having the sensitivity to understand music. What do you come to do, make people laugh… (…) I have feelings, coglio*i! I’m not a character. Go see Fedez, Marracash…. You’re rednecks, you paid but you don’t know who they are. Respect what you are seeing: it is art, you will not see it anywhere else’.

The discussion continued in increasingly heated tones, until Morgan exploded.

‘I don’t sing for people like that, you’ve had enough, you’ve had too much, this is called pearls before swine (…) I have feelings, coglio*i!’, to then end (in general dismay) with a homophobic insult addressed to one spectator: ‘Froc*o di sh*a’.

The singer-songwriter’s subsequent apologies that arrived on Instagram were of no avail, while the organizers of the review distanced themselves from the affair.

‘The Beauty Festival dissociates itself very clearly and regrets Morgan’s foul language during the show at the Selinunte Archaeological Park, which can find no justification in the inappropriate behavior of some spectators. The Festival management has done everything possible to manage the critical situation with respect for the public and ensure the continuation of the show’.
