The conclusion of an exhilarating final day in the 2022/23 DStv Premiership season saw Marumo Gallants suffer relegation to the National First Division.

Alongside this, the teams for the upcoming MTN8 tournament were confirmed, as well as the clubs securing CAF spots.
MTN8 Tournament Lineup
Following 30 matches in the season, the eight teams that qualified for the MTN8 were revealed, setting the stage for some thrilling encounters:
