ISLAMABAD:Umair Zia did highlight the current issues of overseas Pakistanis in Sweden. He did highlight about the Swedish embassy is Islamabad is not fully operational due security concerns and the visa section is closed. Many people and students who’s applying for visa, have to travel to Ethiopia to get a appointment for visa service. Many people, including families and students are suffering and says that it’s not appropriate to travel to Ethiopia for visa service. Umair did request Chaudhry Salik Hussain to take notice of this issue so we can give maximum relief to the overseas Pakistanis in Sweden and people of Pakistan who’s effected by the embassy not fully functional.
Umair did appreciate Chaudhry Salik Hussains work and efforts for the Overseas Pakistanis. Both leaders did discuss about the current issues of overseas community in Sweden and Europe and how we can play a active roles for our community.
The Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Chaudhry Salik Hussain did appreciate Umair Zia Bhatti efforts and work for the overseas community and Pakistanis in Sweden. Mr. Salik did issue a letter to Foreign Ministry of Pakistan regarding the Embassy. The Foreign Ministry is requested to take up this issue with Swedish authorities for resolution of the issue.
