New Hisense A85K 4K OLED TVs revealed

The Hisense A85K 4K OLED TV is expected to arrive in Europe later this year. A report by DisplaySpecifications suggests that the company has announced 55-in and 65-in models, with product names 55A85K and 65A85K. The display covers 97% of the DCI-P3 color space with a maximum brightness of 900 nits and a typical value of around 135 nits. With a 150,000:1 contrast ratio and a 120Hz refresh rate, the TVs support Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+ and HLG.

Other features include 4K upscaling, MEMC motion smoothing and a noise reduction tool. The A85K has gaming features, including a Game Mode Pro, reducing input lag to 9ms, and support for AMD FreeSync Premium. The TV has six built-in 10W speakers, compatible with Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X. The new model uses the VIDAA U7.0 OS, allowing you to stream content from platforms like Disney+, Netflix and YouTube. Plus, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 allows you to wirelessly connect devices and use Anyview screen mirroring.

You can physically connect gadgets such as external speakers or a games console via ports like HDMI 2.1, HDMI 2.0, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0. The Hisense TVs use a MediaTek MT9618 SoC with a quad-core CPU and come with a remote. Alternatively, you could use Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice commands to adjust the device’s settings. It is unclear precisely when the Hisense A85K 4K OLED TVs will launch or how much they will cost.
