At least one terrorist was killed and three others were injured on Sunday after they exchanged fire with security forces in Balochistan’s Gwadar, the military’s media wing reported.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was launched after intelligence was received confirming the presence of terrorists in the area.
The security forces have cordoned off the entire area and launched a search operation.
In a similar incident this morning, one Pakistan Army soldier was martyred and four terrorists were killed during an exchange of fire in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P)’s Bajaur District.

The military’s media wing said that the army conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Charmang, Bajaur District on the reported presence of terrorists.
Earlier this week, at least t two terrorists were killed and another sustained injuries in an intelligence-based operation launched by the security forces against miscreants in Mazaband Range area of Balochistan’s Kech district.
According to the ISPR, a large cache of arms and ammunition was recovered in the operation. The killed terrorists were involved in the targeting of innocent civilians and law enforcement agencies, the military’s media wing had said.
“Security Forces of Pakistan remain committed to eliminating the menace of terrorism and thwart nefarious designs of the enemies of Pakistan at all costs,” it had added.
