Outward Bound Canada offers full scholarships to young people from veteran families

Outward Bound Canada (OBC) has launched an exciting new initiative to provide full scholarships to youth whose parents or guardians are or have been serving members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). This program, made possible by generous funding from W. Brett Wilson, aims to provide young people aged 12 to 19 with the opportunity to develop their leadership potential and connect with their peers while experiencing epic outdoor adventures. .

Designed to promote diversity and inclusion, the program will bring together youth from different backgrounds and experiences on extended wilderness expeditions. Applicants must be between the ages of 12 and 19 and currently reside in Canada, have a parent or guardian who demonstrates membership (current or past) in the CAF, and be interested and motivated to participate in the Outward Bound program.

The Youth from Veteran Families Scholarship provides young people across Canada with a fantastic opportunity to experience the outdoors, learn valuable leadership skills and connect with other young leaders. . To learn more about the program and to apply by May 14, visit outwardbound.ca/youthruns/veteransfamiliesyouthscholarships.
