A T10 exhibition match will be held between Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) XI and Lahore Qalandars on May 28 to mark the soft opening of the Narowal Sports Complex.
The decision to organize the match, which will be attended by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, was made during a meeting chaired by Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal.
Players have been selected for the match, which will feature the likes of Fakhar Zaman and Haris Rauf.
Along with Fakhar and Rauf, Tahir Baig, Jalat Khan, Ahsan Bhatti and Ahmed Daniyal, and some players from the Players Development programme will be a part of the Lahore Qalandars’ squad.
Kamran Akmal, Abid Ali, Asif Ali, Sajid Khan, Ali Imran and Usman Qadir have been selected for PCB XI. Along with them, Khushdil Shah, Abbas Afridi, Muhammad Ilyas, Mohammad Akhlaq, and Amir Hassan will be provided with an opportunity to display their cricketing skills.
This match is being organized by Pakistan Sports Board. The stadium at the Sports Complex has the capacity to accommodate more than ten thousand spectators at a time.
The Narowal Sports Complex is a state-of-the-art facility that includes 14 stadiums and gymnasiums for various sports, including cricket, football, hockey, volleyball, squash, table tennis, lawn tennis, badminton, and other sports.
