Khadija is being termed as the main accused of the attack on Jinnah House. In his audio that has come, he has made many allegations against the Punjab Police and the Army. This audio is of 16 minutes. On Sunday, he has said to surrender. In this, Khadija has admitted that she is a supporter of PTI and was involved in the protest outside Lahore’s Corps Commander house. Although he has denied that he incited people to violence.
Khadija is saying, ‘I have decided to surrender because the last four-five days have been very difficult for me. Some people entered my house in the middle of the night and kidnapped my husband and father. They beat up my husband in front of our children and also harassed my servants. PTI supporter Khadija said that she did not violate any law or the constitution of the country. However, he has also accepted that during the last one year, he participated in whatever protests were held on behalf of PTI.

Khadija has said that she has dual citizenship and is trying to get help from the embassy. He said that the Punjab government was trying to build a case against him saying that he was the prime suspect and mastermind of the May 9 violence. She refused to consider herself a PTI worker and official.

All he said was that he had taken part in the protest as a supporter of Imran Khan. Khadija Shah is the daughter of former Finance Minister of the country, Dr. Salman Shah, who was in the team of former President Pervez Musharraf during his regime. Dr. Salman has also worked as an advisor to the Punjab government.

Shah’s grandfather Khwaja Asif Janjua was an army chief whose death remains a mystery even today. Some believe that he was poisoned. When the police raided her house, she fled through the back door. Referring to the events that led to the attack on Jinnah House, she said that she joined the PTI procession in Lahore’s Liberty Chowk to protest against the arrest of former PM Imran Khan. “I also met Andaleeb Abbas (PTI leader) and I was told later that they (protesters) were going towards the Corps Commander House to protest there,” he said. Shah said that there is nothing wrong in protesting outside any place in any democratic country.
