New Delhi. People are often ready to go to any extent to make their dreams come true. He does not back down until he achieves his goal. Then no matter how many obstacles come in the way. Arunab Sinha also showed the same spirit. Coming from a middle-class family in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, Arunab almost lost all his business within a month of starting the business. But he did not lose courage and made his dream come true with the co-founder of his company and his wife Gunjan Taneja.
After completing engineering from IIT in 2008, Arunabh started a job in a big company with a good package. However, he could not find work there and switched jobs. In 2011, he started his first startup. In 2015, he sold it to the same company which had given him funding to start this startup. After this he started working once again. This time he started a job with an annual package of Rs 1 crore. But it was written in his destiny not to do job but to give jobs.

Uclean launched in 2017
Arunab quit his crore rupees job in 2016 and founded Uclean in 2017. This is a dry cleaning company. He told that while working in the hotel, he understood that people complain a lot about the clothes not being cleaned properly. According to Arunab, there was a lot of opportunity to move forward in this field because till now most of the clothes in India are washed in the traditional way at Dhobi Ghat. Keeping this in mind, he laid the foundation of Uclean.
first month lime
Everyone was liking his idea but no one was ready to invest money. Somehow the owner of a dry cleaning store in Delhi agreed to give 2 of his 6 stores to them. It also invested Rs 25 lakh to make the traditional stores similar to the vision of Uclean. In return, Arunab agreed that he would give them Rs 50,000 as profit every month apart from the rent. Arunab’s first store opened in Vasant Kunj. It was only 21 days since the store was opened that due to some technical reasons a fire broke out there and goods worth Rs 12 lakh were burnt to ashes.
did not give up
Arunab felt that this was the end, yet he did not give up and contacted Alliance Laundry, a company that manufactures commercial washing machines. Alliance agreed to give them 3 new machines free of cost. After this his work went on. Uclean then adopted the franchise model. Now Uclean offers franchisees at a franchisee fee of Rs 5 lakh (GST separately) and a monthly royalty of 5-7%. Uclean charges between Rs 80-180 per kg of laundry. Also, it costs up to Rs 2000 to dry clean expensive clothes. Within just 6 years, Uclean has achieved a turnover of Rs 100 crores. It has 323 stores in 93 cities.
